Since we specialize in Media and Media conversion, how we get devices to communicate over existing media's is a critical part of eliminating costs associated with our installation efforts. Keypad data in, over IP, and right to where we need it! Now that's thinking smarter.

Our Systems are far from traditional
Some will see the System, equally their related devices; but a truly Unified System goes beyond just function.
Traditional companies will leave behind the communication side of an effective solution, partly because they see communications as a separate Industry.

Looks can be deceiving...
With traditional video systems, and some IP Video Systems; you might have to go to the recorder to see your video and/or multiple videos.
It may look like this image to the left. But then again, you may be not looking through the recorder...
Click on the image. You are actually looking at Multiple cameras, from a single Camera! The recorder is off limits users; accessible only to admin users.

Maybe you see a door...an access control card reader...and an intercom?
What you don't see, is the entire set of variable's in how it performs!
Is there a visitor standing there?
Is it an Employee Door?
Who answers the Intercom?
Why is there NO Camera there?

Unified, in the palm of your hands...
Be careful with this next one...
There are tons of Tablet, and smart devices on the Market today. Most are more focused around Entertainment, than they are business.
Sure they're WiFi, 3G/4G compatible, and offer a wide variety of Apps., but most often; in a business environment, these types of devices do fall short when it comes to applications. Most often you'll be waiting for the App. to arrive; or worst, even be written.
What about "Tethering"? You may want to investigate a few options before you limit your choices...
